It features polymer-and-steel construction, including a steel barrel and receiver with a glass-reinforced nylon polymer frame and furniture. This shotgun is made in the USA.
Its dual, selectable magazine tubes with witness slots provide a capacity of 14+1 with 2.75 in shells or 12+1 with 3 in shells. A three-position magazine selector with cutoff enables control over feeding, and a cross-bolt safety serves as the primary safety control.
A Kel-Tec rubber buttpad is included but not installed, along with miscellaneous small parts and a pictured nylon wrap/strap accessory.
The KSG arrives with no sights and includes a full-length, T-marked 1913 Picatinny top rail and an integral bottom rail. Bottom loading and downward ejection keep spent shells away from the face and support ambidextrous use. The chamber is cut for 3 in shells.
