Springfield’s Variable Interface System enables direct mounting of popular optics using self-locking pins and an optics cut with a cover plate when irons are preferred. The serialized Central Operating Group modular fire-control unit underpins the platform’s adaptability. The slide adds front and rear cocking serrations, a forward trench grasping surface, and ambidextrous slide-stop levers.
This striker-fired 9mm uses a flat-faced trigger with an integral trigger safety. Capacity is 17+1, and the pistol ships with one 17-round and one 15-round steel Echelon-compatible magazine. The overall presentation is completed by carry-friendly accessories and factory packaging noted above.
