The Commander-length 4.25 in barrel uses a traditional bushing setup and a 1:16 RH twist, delivering the classic 1911 balance and handling in a compact format. The slide and frame are stainless with a low-glare finish, and the slide has rear-only cocking serrations.
Sighting is straightforward with Novak 3-dot irons: a dovetailed front dot and a drift-adjustable Novak 2-dot rear, both set in Novak dovetails. A visual inspection port allows quick chamber checks.
The single-action, Series-70-type fire-control system uses a titanium firing pin and strong firing-pin spring, with no firing-pin block. Safety features include a beavertail grip safety and a manual thumb safety.
Ergonomics and controls are thoughtfully executed: a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, a skeletonized aluminum three-hole trigger, and checkered hardwood double-diamond stocks with Ruger medallions. An installed rubber finger-groove front-strap insert adds a secure hold.
This pistol was manufactured in Prescott, Arizona, USA, with 2014 production confirmed by Ruger serial history (prefix 671-). Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and the package includes five Ruger factory magazines and the original case.
