This PA-459 TR features a 3" chamber for 2 3/4" or 3" 12 gauge loads and a compact 18.5" barrel for maneuverability. Capacity is 4+1. The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for strength with reduced weight, and the barrel is steel and chrome-lined for durability and easy maintenance.
Built for fast sight acquisition, it includes a receiver-top Picatinny rail with an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight and a hooded fiber-optic front sight. Controls are designed for quick operation, with a conveniently located action release. The ribbed synthetic forend provides a secure grasp through cycling.
The threaded barrel accepts interchangeable chokes and comes with an extended, ported Flashhider/Choke, adding muzzle control and a protective, flash-hider style profile. The removable choke system and chrome-lined bore support consistent performance and straightforward upkeep.
The synthetic stock wears a green/grey digital-camouflage finish and an overmolded pistol-grip for solid control, along with a recoil pad and sling-attachment points at the buttstock toe and magazine cap. Markings include Weatherby - Paso Robles, CA and Made in Turkey on the barrel. The TR naming references California Penal Code §459.
