What’s Included
- Stoeger Coach Gun side-by-side owner's manual (Single Trigger Extractor Model)
Manufactured by E.R. Amantino (Boito) in Brazil and imported by Stoeger, this Double Defense carries clear import markings: "STOEGER, INC. – ACCOKEEK, MARYLAND, E. R. AMANTINO, MADE IN BRAZIL." It is a two-shot, break-action design that retains the straightforward handling and reliability associated with the platform.
The 20-inch side-by-side barrels are ported and fitted with fixed improved cylinder chokes for consistent patterns with defensive or field loads. Chambers are cut for 3-inch shells. A green fiber-optic front bead provides a bright, easy-to-acquire aiming point.
A bottom Picatinny rail is installed for attaching compatible accessories. The top rib is drilled and tapped to accept an optional rail if desired. The overall finish is matte black for a low-glare profile.
Controls and furniture are set up for practical use: an automatic tang safety, a single non-selective trigger, and an extractor system (non-ejector). The black-finished wood stock and beavertail forend feature checkering for grip, and a recoil pad helps manage felt recoil. Length of pull measures 14 inches.
