What’s Included
- Ruger SR1911 Night Watchman Commander pistol
- 1 Ruger factory 7-round magazine marked '45 ACP' and 'MADE IN USA'
The Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel uses a standard barrel bushing and GI-style recoil spring plug, delivering classic 1911 handling with an inspection port for quick chamber checks. The slide includes rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a relief cut for reliable operation.
Sights are practical and low-profile: a Trijicon tritium front sight marked "H3 14" paired with a low-mount Novak-pattern rear that is drift-adjustable for windage. This setup supports fast acquisition in varied light conditions.
Controls and safety features are true to form with useful enhancements: single-action only with a skeletonized three-hole trigger and overtravel screw, a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, a single-side (left) thumb safety, and an upswept beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. It also uses a titanium firing pin with a heavy spring and no firing-pin block, plus a half-cock notch.
The steel frame and slide wear a matte black finish. Ergonomics include a checkered, flat mainspring housing, smooth front strap, checkered magazine release, and black textured synthetic grips with Ruger medallions. Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP, and this pistol was manufactured in the United States in 2014.
