This MCX-SPEAR LT pistol pairs Sig Sauer's short-stroke gas piston system with a compact 11.5 inch barrel and a rugged Coyote/FDE anodized finish. It is set up with a Huxwrx flash hider, a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, and a B5 Systems grip, along with a 1913-mounted side-folding brace. The design features fully ambidextrous controls, a free-float M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail, and an internal recoil system that allows firing while folded. The 11.5 inch carbon steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded 1/2x28, capped with the Huxwrx three-prong flash hider. The free-float, lightened M-LOK handguard and full-length top Picatinny rail provide a rigid, continuous interface while keeping weight down.
Its short-stroke gas piston system runs with an adjustable gas regulator visible through the handguard window. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including mirrored safety levers and bolt catch/release on both sides, plus an enlarged magazine release. The installed Radian Raptor-LT charging handle adds positive, ambidextrous manipulation.
The internal recoil system mates to a rear 1913 rail, enabling use and firing while the rigid side-folding brace is folded. The brace is fitted with a Gear Head Works Tailhook endcap for compact storage and rapid deployment.
Receivers are forged aluminum with a Coyote/FDE anodized finish and incorporate replaceable steel wear inserts in critical areas. A flat-faced, two-stage match trigger and the installed B5 Systems grip round out a precise, modern MCX-SPEAR LT setup in 5.56 NATO with 30+1 capacity.
