What's Included
- Colt Government Model MK IV/Series 70 9mm pistol
- 1x 9-round steel single-stack 9mm 1911 magazine (unbranded)
The MK IV/Series 70 pattern on this pistol retains the traditional 1911 lockwork without a firing-pin block. It is a single-action, locked-breech design with a single-stack 9+1 capacity, pairing classic operation with the 9mm Luger chambering.
Construction is blued carbon steel for both slide and frame. The slide has rear-only vertical serrations, and the mainspring housing is the arched, serrated style. Controls include a single-sided left thumb safety, a grip safety, a short solid trigger, and a spur hammer.
Sighting equipment is GI-style: a staked front blade and a square-notch rear set into a slide dovetail. Grips are checkered walnut with inset gold Colt medallions, providing a traditional Government Model look and feel.
This example was manufactured in 1982 in the United States and reflects the features associated with Government-size Series 70 pistols from the period, including the 5-inch barrel and full-size frame.
