The DB15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system and is chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It features a 16 in threaded barrel with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider and a standard 30+1 capacity.
The rifle employs a flat-top upper receiver with a brass deflector. A T-marked Picatinny rail runs along the upper receiver, and the free-float M-LOK handguard (FDE) includes a short 12 o'clock rail section. No sights are installed.
Controls and furniture are practical and durable: a 6-position collapsible stock offers an approximate length-of-pull range of 10.25–13.25 in, and a Magpul polymer pistol grip is fitted. A manual safety is provided.
Construction and finish details include an FDE-finished aluminum receiver and an aluminum free-float handguard. Markings include a dust cover stenciled "5.56" and "NATO," a barrel marked "CAL 5.56," and a receiver marked "CAL. MULTI." This configuration is made in the United States.
