It features a flat-top upper with a full-length Picatinny rail and a matte black finish. Factory markings include "Newington, NH" and the SIG circular logo on the magwell. It comes with three Magpul PMAG GEN M3 30-round magazines.

The M400 TREAD uses a semi-automatic direct impingement system and a 16-inch barrel capped with a factory 3-prong flash hider on its threaded muzzle. The low-profile gas block supports reliable function while maintaining a streamlined front end.
Its long, slim free-float handguard has elongated vents and a slick top, keeping the profile narrow and the front end light. The receiver set wears a matte black finish that matches the furniture for a uniform look.
The AR-15 flat-top upper includes a full-length Picatinny rail. The rifle is configured without factory sights, allowing users to set up the top rail as desired.
Furniture includes a black polymer 6-position telescoping stock and a black polymer pistol grip with SIG SAUER molded into the panel. Capacity is 30+1 when using the included magazines.
Markings note US manufacture in Newington, New Hampshire, and the magwell carries the SIG circular logo.
