This Government-pattern 1911 uses a stainless steel frame and slide with brushed flats and matte rounds, delivering a durable finish in a classic presentation. It is a full-size configuration with a 5 inch barrel and rear cocking serrations only. The front strap is smooth, and the pistol is made in the United States.
Operation is single-action, short-recoil, with the standard 1911 recoil system using a barrel bushing and short guide rod. Safety features include a single-sided (left) manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and the Series 80 firing pin block. It is equipped with a solid, short trigger and a spur hammer.
The sighting system is straightforward and durable: a blade front with a white dot and a fixed, dovetailed rear with two white dots. Black checkered synthetic grips with Colt medallions provide a secure hold and round out the traditional 1911 ergonomics.
Chambered in .45 ACP, the pistol has a 7+1 capacity and comes with two 7-round stainless steel magazines. The barrel hood is marked "COLT 45 AUTO," and the slide legends include "COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL" and ".45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" with the Rampant Colt, underscoring its Colt heritage.
