The PM9 is a micro-size PM Series pistol chambered in 9mm Luger and built on Kahr's locked-breech, striker-fired, double-action-only system. It features a smooth, curved trigger and a left-side, push-button magazine release for straightforward operation.
Its matte stainless slide carries rear vertical grasping serrations for confident manipulation. The black polymer frame incorporates molded texture panels with Kahr "K" medallions. Sights are the white bar-dot pattern, with a pinned white-dot front and a dovetailed rear vertical bar. The slide is marked "PM9" and "KAHR," and the barrel hood is marked "9x19."
The pistol uses a detachable single-column magazine system, with a stated maximum capacity of 7+1.
