The SR22 uses a fixed, non-threaded 3.50 inch stainless steel barrel and a straight blowback DA/SA action with an external hammer. Its aircraft-grade aluminum alloy slide has a black anodized finish with front and rear serrations, and it rides on a glass-filled nylon frame built for light weight and durability.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release and the manual safety/decocker. Additional features include a loaded chamber inspection port and a magazine disconnect. An integral accessory rail with multiple cross-slots is molded into the frame for mounting a light or other compatible accessory.
The sighting system pairs a white-dot front sight with a fully adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation. The rear blade is reversible, and the 1:16 RH twist supports a wide range of .22 LR loads.
Despite its compact size, the pistol offers a 10+1 capacity and practical dimensions for easy handling: 6.40 inches overall length, 4.90 inches in height, 0.97 inch in width, and a weight of 17.5 ounces. Interchangeable backstraps and the included magazine baseplate options help tailor the grip and feel.
