Chambered in .45 Colt and .410, the barrel is marked "45 COLT/410 3 INCH" to indicate a 3 in .410 chamber. The break-action, single-action-only design holds two rounds and uses an external spurred hammer for deliberate operation.
The 4.25 in stainless steel barrel features octagonal exterior flats and fixed sights that are integral to the barrel rib. The longer barrel of the SSIV variant is designed to improve .410 pattern density and velocity.
Construction is all stainless steel with a brushed stainless frame and receiver for durability. An automatic spent-casing extractor aids reloads, while a spring-loaded cammed locking lever with a topside release provides secure and simple barrel lockup.
Extended rosewood grips deliver a three-finger hold and carry a laser-engraved Snake Slayer/Bond Arms coiled-snake logo. Safety features include a cross-bolt safety, rebounding hammer, and retracting firing pins.
