The Magpul MOE configuration provides a matched set of FDE polymer furniture: a Magpul MOE SL adjustable stock, MOE pistol grip, and carbine-length MOE handguard. The handguard includes an installed accessory rail at the 6 o'clock position for mounting compatible add-ons.
The 16" barrel uses 1:9 twist rifling and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash suppressor. This setup pairs common 5.56 NATO loads with a durable, standard-pattern muzzle interface.
Sighting and receiver features include a fixed A2 front sight base with square post and integrated sling loop, plus a T-marked Picatinny upper receiver rail with S&W marking. The upper also incorporates a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and brass deflector.
The rifle operates via a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system with a manual safety. An ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle in FDE is installed for easier manipulation from either side. The carbine accepts STANAG-pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity with standard 30-round mags.
