The Trail (TA1) configuration delivers compact handling with a PDW-style, dual-rod telescoping stock offering four positions for an adjustable length of pull. An AR-style polymer pistol grip complements the lightweight aluminum receiver and free-float handguard, keeping the package streamlined and easy to maneuver.
The 16.2 in carbon steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, free-floated, and cut to a semi-heavy contour with a recessed crown. It uses a 1:7 twist rate, and the forend cutout is marked “223 Rem. 1:7” for quick chamber and twist identification.
A full-length, continuous Picatinny top rail runs over the receiver and handguard, while the aluminum M-LOK handguard provides slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock for direct accessory mounting. The action employs a 60° three-lug bolt with a straight handle and enlarged, grooved knob for confident operation and right-side ejection.
Controls are ambidextrous, including the paddle-style magazine release and selector-lever safety. The single-stage, user-adjustable trigger allows fine-tuning to preference. Later-production configuration features a fixed, non-user-swappable barrel as adopted across the CZ 600 series. Model marking “CZ 600 TA1” is confirmed, with “Made in Czech Republic” and “CZ-USA Kansas City, KS” import markings.
