The Echelon's modular Central Operating Group is a serialized fire-control chassis that anchors the system and enables straightforward configuration changes within the platform. This example pairs that core with a full-size polymer frame in Desert FDE and a billet-machined steel slide finished in Desert FDE Cerakote.
Its 4.5-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated steel barrel uses a 1:10 twist. The slide includes front and rear serrations and an optic-mount cover plate, and is cut for direct-mount optics using Springfield's Variable Interface System.
Ambidextrous controls are standard, including the slide stop and magazine release. The flat-faced striker-fired trigger incorporates a trigger blade safety. The grip uses textured panels, molded index pads, and interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune hand fit.
Factory sights consist of a black U-notch rear and a high-visibility front dot. A full-length 1913 Picatinny rail with five slots is molded into the dust cover for light or accessory mounting.
This full-size 9mm ships with one 17-round and one 20-round steel magazine, for a capacity of up to 20+1. Overall dimensions are 8.0 inches in length, 5.5 inches in height, and 1.2 inches in width, with an approximate weight of 23.9 oz. The Desert FDE colorway was added May 28, 2024, and the model earned an NTOA MTR Gold ranking in 2024.
