The VP9SK is HK's compact VP9-series 9mm, built on a NATO Green polymer frame with a black carbon-nitride slide finish. Its steel barrel measures 3.39 inches and is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, paired to a striker-fired, Browning-type short-recoil system.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including an HK paddle-style magazine release. The slide incorporates HK's charging supports (grip wings) for confident manipulation. The grip can be tailored using the included interchangeable backstraps and side panels.
Sighting is via fixed 3-dot luminescent sights, with a green-dot front blade and a fixed notch rear. The sight radius is 5.73 inches for a clear, consistent sight picture.
Capacity is 15+1 with the included extended magazine. This pistol ships with both a compact 12-round and an extended 15-round steel double-stack magazine, and it also accepts VP9/P30 full-size magazines.
Made in Oberndorf, Germany and imported by HKI (Columbus, GA), it bears German C.I.P. proof marks and the DE country code. The slide, barrel, and frame carry matching serial numbers. An abbreviated MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail is molded into the dust cover for compatible lights or accessories.
