This Super Target configuration centers on clarity and control. The slide is cut with rear cocking serrations, a flat-top serrated rib, an external extractor, a lowered and flared ejection port, and decorative longitudinal lines. The sighting system combines a green fiber-optic front with a fully adjustable rear target sight for precise point-of-aim adjustments.
The pistol uses a traditional 5-inch bushing-type barrel and a GI-style recoil spring plug, staying true to classic 1911 geometry while delivering predictable lockup. The single-action-only system is paired with a tuned, skeletonized, medium-length trigger and a skeletonized rowel hammer for a clean, consistent trigger press.
Ergonomics are dialed in for a secure, repeatable grip. The front strap wears 25 LPI checkering, while the mainspring housing features 20 LPI checkering. Checkered wood target grips with SIG medallions integrate a magwell funnel to speed reloads. Thumb and grip safeties provide familiar 1911 control.
Built on a steel frame and receiver, the full-size Super Target weighs approximately 41.6 oz and measures about 8.7 inches in overall length. Capacity is 8+1, and it comes with two 8-round magazines to keep you ready for the line.
