The rifle features a durable parkerized finish and a black composite stock with molded checkering.
The M1A Scout Squad is built on the M14-style, gas-operated platform and uses a two-stage trigger. Its detachable box magazine system offers a 10+1 capacity, and the published overall length and weight are approximately 40.33 inches and about 8 lb 8 oz, respectively. This configuration delivers the classic M1A Scout layout with a ready-to-use scout optic included.

The 18-inch barrel is carbon steel with a 1:11-inch right-hand twist and six-groove rifling. A factory cylindrical multi-port muzzle brake is installed at the muzzle. The gas-operated, semi-automatic action follows the M14 platform and is paired with a two-stage trigger.
Ahead of the receiver, the rifle features a forward barrel-mounted Picatinny scout rail, which currently hosts the included Burris long-eye-relief scope. The military-style iron sights remain in place, combining a protected post front with an aperture rear adjustable via windage and elevation knobs.
The black composite stock includes molded checkering for grip and a Springfield Armory-marked rubber buttplate. The checkered pistol grip and a length of pull measuring 13.0 inches round out the handling features. A tan two-point web sling is already installed.
The receiver wears a matte parkerized finish that complements the overall parkerized treatment. The detachable box magazine system supports a 10+1 capacity with the included 10-round magazine. Published overall length is approximately 40.33 inches, and the published weight is about 8 lb 8 oz.
