The Mil-Spec series mirrors the M1911A1 format with sensible enhancements. This full-size .45 ACP features a Government-length 5 inch barrel with a standard barrel bushing and recoil spring plug, maintaining the classic 1911 architecture and handling.
Controls are true to GI-style with a spur hammer, solid short trigger, short tang grip safety, and an A1-profile arched mainspring housing. The left-side magazine release is standard, and the safety suite includes both a thumb safety and a grip safety.
The steel slide and frame wear a matte dark gray parkerized/phosphate finish. The slide has rear cocking serrations, a relieved ejection port, and fixed sights consisting of a square-notch rear and a front post with a single white dot. The Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest is on the slide, and the barrel hood is stamped "S.A. .45 AUTO."
Contract manufacture by IMBEL (Brazil) is confirmed by "MADE IN BRAZIL – IMBEL" alongside "S.A. GENESEO IL USA" import marks.
