The Spartan II theme is executed with a distressed coyote finish on the slide and frame, a Spartan helmet emblem on top of the slide, and "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" engraved on the slide. Factory markings include "SIG SAUER 1911" on the slide and "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA" on the frame. The line was introduced in 2019, and this example retains the distinctive styling and engraving that define the series.
Built on the 1911 platform and set up for single-action-only operation, this pistol incorporates practical enhancements: a skeletonized trigger, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, ambidextrous thumb safety levers, and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. The textured Spartan-themed grip panels, frontstrap checkering, and an undercut trigger guard support secure handling.
The barrel is threaded and extended, capped with a knurled thread protector. Dovetailed SIGLITE 3-dot night sights sit atop the slide, with the front blade marked "MH3 AS," and a 6.5-inch sight radius. An integral Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover.
Dimensions and capacity are true to a Government-length 1911: a 5.0-inch barrel, 5.5-inch height, 1.4-inch width, and a sight radius of 6.5 inches. Weight is 41.6 ounces with the magazine, and capacity is 8+1; two 8-round magazines are included.
