The pistol is in very good condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore, and it comes with two 8-round magazines.

Built on S&W’s proven metal-frame Third Generation platform, the Model 4566 pairs a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel with a stainless slide and frame for a durable, duty-size .45 ACP package. Capacity is 8+1, and the pistol was made in the USA in 1992.
The DA/SA system uses a smooth, curved trigger and an ambidextrous, slide-mounted safety/decocker. Additional safety features include a firing pin block and a magazine disconnect. A spurred hammer and external extractor complete the control set.
Ergonomics and handling details include factory one-piece black wraparound synthetic grips with the S&W logo, a squared and serrated trigger guard, vertical frontstrap serrations, and a lightly beveled magazine well. Fixed, dovetailed 3-dot sights provide a straightforward sight picture.
The stainless matte/brushed finish is complemented by crisp factory markings: the S&W crest rollmark on the right side of the frame and "SMITH & WESSON Springfield, MA USA" on the slide. The barrel is marked "S&W .45 AUTO." This is the non-TSW configuration with no accessory/light rail.
