The Magnum Twenty series was designed for 3" 20-gauge loads, and this example reflects that purpose with Browning’s long-recoil Auto-5 mechanism and an adjustable friction-ring system tuned for magnum performance. It incorporates a left-side magazine cut-off and bolt release, with the familiar cross-bolt safety.
The 26 inch barrel is marked "Special Steel" with Browning patents and wears a ventilated, matted rib capped by a single front bead for a clean sight picture. It is chambered for 3" shells (3" Chamber). The Belgian star-code "**-" denotes a fixed Improved Cylinder choke; this open constriction is often described in the field as a "cyl bore" style setup.
Both receiver and barrel carry a high-polish blue finish. The receiver features factory scroll engraving with a zig-zag border. The steel receiver and barrel complement well-fit walnut furniture with cut checkering, a pistol-grip stock, and a hard buttplate. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
