The V7 SLW configuration pairs a 16.1 in lightweight-profile, cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel made from chrome-moly-vanadium steel with a mid-length gas system. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a Daniel Defense three-prong flash suppressor.
The Daniel Defense MFR 13.5 M-LOK free-float handguard is aluminum and provides a continuous 1913 top rail with T-markings, M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, and an integral QD sling socket. This setup offers a rigid, lightweight mounting platform.
The upper and lower receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish and include standard AR-15 features such as a forward assist, dust cover, and bolt catch. Controls include a manual safety with SAFE/SEMI selector markings. The rifle has a collapsible polymer stock, a Daniel Defense pistol grip, and a 14.0 in length of pull. No sights are installed.
