Built for the Auto-5 long-recoil platform, this 12-gauge Special Steel barrel measures 26.75 in and is chambered for 2 3/4 in shells. The bore is excellent with a mirror finish, supporting the barrel’s clean internal condition.
A Simmons ventilated rib has been installed and bears a partial "SIMMONS GUNS INC., KANSAS CITY, MO." stamp. The rib complements the classic A5 sighting plane and pairs with the brass front bead mounted on the Cutts Compensator.
The Cutts Compensator features longitudinal ports and accepts the included Lyman screw-in choke tubes. This set provides four options — Full, Spreader, M.C. 725, and 12 MAG F. — and comes with the correct Cutts wrench marked "12" for easy changes.
Markings include the Browning Arms Company St. Louis MO & Montreal P.Q. address line, Belgian proof marks, and the 1Kg 025 weight stamp, confirming its Belgian manufacture and period-correct production details.
