The PC Carbine’s takedown system with a rotating locking collar allows the barrel assembly to separate from the receiver for compact transport and straightforward maintenance. The receiver is alloy with a black finish and is marked PC CARBINE and Ruger • Newport, NH • USA. A full-length Picatinny rail atop the receiver supports mounting solutions, and the rifle retains barrel-mounted adjustable rear ghost-ring and a protected front post.
The installed Midwest Industries free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard provides rigid accessory mounting while keeping the barrel free-floated. M-LOK slots offer placement flexibility along the handguard, and the overall setup balances modern ergonomics with the PC Carbine’s proven blowback action.
The 16.12 in steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a silver [TK] Pro Compensator (two-port) to help manage muzzle movement. The carbine feeds 9mm Luger with a 10+1 capacity and uses a removable magazine-well insert system; a spare insert is included. Length of pull measures 13.25 in.
Control upgrades define this example: a red-anodized extended charging handle (left-side installed, reversible), enlarged paddle-style magazine release (reversible), a red skeletonized trigger, an upgraded safety, and a red-anodized takedown lever. The black polymer stock is fixed and includes textured grip areas, a rubber buttpad, and a rear sling stud.
