This Russian-made Molot-Oruzhie Vepr-12 from the VPO-205 series is a Kalashnikov-pattern, long-stroke gas-operated shotgun built on a reinforced RPK-derived stamped-steel receiver. It features a 19" barrel with an externally threaded muzzle, a hinged railed top cover with an RPK-style tangent rear sight, and a folding skeletonized stock. Marked 12x76 for 3" shells and imported by Wolf Performance Arms (WPA), this example comes from a line whose U.S. imports effectively ceased after 2017 OFAC sanctions.

The Vepr-12 VPO-205 series combines the proven Kalashnikov long-stroke gas system with a reinforced RPK-derived stamped-steel receiver and polymer furniture, delivering robust construction with practical features. Its extended and flared magazine well and paddle-style magazine release support fast, positive mag changes around the stated 5+1 capacity.
The 19" barrel is externally threaded at the muzzle, and the chamber is marked 12x76 to accept 3" shells. The bore presents a clean, mirror finish. Sling attachment points are present for carry versatility.
Sighting is handled by a protected front post on the gas block and an RPK-style tangent rear sight mounted on the hinged top cover. That top cover also incorporates a rail, maintaining zero with its hinged design.
Controls and furniture include a manual safety selector (marked S and F), a folding skeletonized stock with a rubber buttpad, a polymer pistol grip with finger grooves, and ribbed polymer lower and polymer upper handguard covers. Manufacturer and importer markings include MOLOT-ORUZHIE LTD., Vyatskie Polyany, Russia, and WPA, Anaheim, CA, with model marking Vepr-12 Molot.
