What’s Included
- IWI Carmel 5.56mm NATO rifle
- 1x 30-round USGI-pattern metal AR-15/STANAG magazine
Built around a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system, the Carmel uses a multi-lug rotating bolt with right-side ejection and runs on readily available AR-15/STANAG magazines. Factory capacity is 30+1 rounds.
The 16 inch barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome lined, and threaded, and it comes fitted with an A2-style flash hider. The 1:7 twist rate is suited to common 5.56 NATO bullet weights.
The rifle pairs a durable polymer receiver with a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard for accessory placement. It includes rail mounting surfaces and an integrated provision for optics; no factory sights are installed. An ambidextrous safety selector and a collapsible AR-style stock on a carbine receiver extension provide familiar controls, with a 14.5 inch length of pull.
U.S. configuration details include a serialized lower receiver and rollmarks reading "IWI US MIDDLETOWN, PA" with "CHF/CL 1:7 H3." Selector positions are marked "S" and "F," and a 2D matrix code is present adjacent to the serial.
