The Shadow Systems MR920 War Poet is a compact, striker-fired 9mm built in the USA with a feature-rich slide and an extended, threaded barrel. This example pairs a Night Fision front sight with a blacked-out rear notch, includes Shadow Systems' multi-footprint direct-mount optic-cut with cover plate installed, and comes with two 15-round magazines plus original factory packaging and accessories.

The War Poet submodel features co-branded slide geometry and branding, aggressive forward and rear serrations, and a top window/port. Its compact size balances concealability with full-hand control.
The optic-cut slide uses Shadow Systems' multi-footprint direct-mount system, allowing direct mounting of compatible footprints without a separate adapter plate. An optic cover plate is installed from the factory.
The approximately 4.5 in extended barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and finished with a recessed crown. A knurled thread protector is included and installed.
Sight configuration is a Night Fision front with a blacked-out rear notch for a clean sight picture. The black polymer frame uses molded stippling with interchangeable backstraps, an extended beavertail, and an undercut trigger guard for hand fit. An integral accessory rail is molded into the dust cover.
The pistol is striker-fired with a flat-faced trigger and a trigger safety. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger. The factory box label on this example shows the "Warrior Poet" spelling variant.
