What’s Included
- Remington Model 870 Wingmaster 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
The 30-inch plain, round-top field barrel with a single front bead provides a traditional sight picture suited to wingshooting and clay work. The chamber is cut for 2 3/4-inch shells, feeding from a 4+1 tubular magazine, with right-side ejection.
Walnut furniture defines this Wingmaster: a glossy-finished stock with impressed fleur-de-lis checkering, an inlaid round Remington bird medallion coin at the bottom of the pistol grip (no separate black grip cap or white-line spacer at the grip), and a ventilated rubber recoil pad with a white spacer. The long sporting-pattern walnut forend complements the stock, offering a comfortable and consistent pump stroke.
The receiver uses the V prefix and V suffix serial format, with the V suffix denoting a standard 12-gauge 2 3/4-inch receiver. It features a cross-bolt safety and the familiar Model 870 pump-action layout.
Manufactured in Ilion, New York, during the late 1970s–early 1980s era, this Wingmaster reflects the period’s fit and finish while retaining the core features that define the series.
