The Jianshe Arsenal M12AK-T1 is a magazine-fed, AK-pattern 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun with a chrome-lined 18.7 inch barrel threaded for RemChoke. It features a four-position adjustable gas system, a long ventilated aluminum forend with M-LOK slots and a top Picatinny rail on the handguard. Built on a stamped-steel receiver and imported by JTS Group in Katy, Texas, this T-Series variant is set up for 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells and comes with two 5-round magazines.

The M12AK-T1 uses a four-position adjustable gas regulator (0–3) to tune operation for different 12 gauge loads. It is chambered for both 2-3/4 inch and 3 inch shells and feeds from detachable box magazines, with a stated capacity of 5+1.
The 18.7 inch chrome-lined barrel is threaded for RemChoke chokes, offering a durable bore and a common choke interface. The long, ventilated aluminum forend includes M-LOK slots for accessory attachment and a top Picatinny rail on the handguard; the receiver uses a ribbed AK-pattern top cover with no rail.
The shotgun is built on a stamped-steel AK-pattern receiver with a ribbed top cover, a right-side charging handle, and a right-side selector/safety. The fixed black polymer stock pairs with a textured polymer pistol grip, providing a 13.75 inch length of pull.
Markings include the JTS shield logo and import information for JTS Group in Katy, Texas, with manufacture by Chongqing Jianshe Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. Approximate weight is 10.25 lb without a magazine. A low-profile rear notch/leaf sight is positioned at the rear.
