This full-size M&P9 M2.0 Metal HD pairs a 5-inch stainless, Armornite-treated barrel with a steel frame and steel slide for a robust 9mm configuration. It features a C.O.R.E.-pattern optics-ready slide with cover plate, a Night Fision tritium front sight with a blacked-out rear, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and no external thumb safety. Two 17-round factory magazines and three spare interchangeable palmswell backstraps are included.

The Metal HD variant uses a steel frame and steel slide finished in Armornite, matched to a 5-inch stainless barrel treated with Armornite. This construction gives the pistol a solid, duty-length 9mm configuration in the M2.0 series.
The slide is C.O.R.E.-pattern optics-ready with a cover plate installed and ships with S&W optic adapter plates. Forward and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the external extractor is part of the slide feature set.
Sight picture comes from a Night Fision tritium front sight and a blacked-out serrated rear. The pistol uses a flat-faced trigger and a striker-fired action, with no external thumb safety.
Ergonomics include textured grips and four total palmswell options (three spare backstraps included) to tailor hand fit. Ambidextrous slide stop levers and a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover round out the controls and mounting options.
