The DS9 Hybrid combines a DLC/PVD slide with lightening cuts, front and rear cocking serrations, and a lowered/flared ejection port. The Hybrid windowing reduces reciprocating mass and is compatible with optional factory barrel porting, supporting fast cycling with the bushingless, bull-barrel setup.
Controls include a left-side magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safety, and beavertail grip safety. The flat-faced, red anodized trigger and skeletonized hammer complement the aggressive, scale-textured metal grip and flared magwell, which is red anodized and MPA-engraved at the base.
This full-size 2011-platform pistol is configured for capacity and stability. It ships with two magazines showing witness marks to 20, yielding a 20+1 standard capacity. Unloaded weight is approximately 2.5 lb, with an overall length of 8.9 in and height of 7.3 in.
A Trijicon SRO reflex sight is installed on the factory MPA optics plate, providing a red-dot sighting solution out of the box. The receiver is marked "MPA CAMILLA, GA," and the pistol is made in the United States.
