Built in Germany and imported by HKI (Columbus, GA), this VP9 carries DE country marks, the Ulm antler proof, and the eagle/N nitro proof. The slide also bears the BF date code, identifying 2015 proof/production. These factory markings authenticate its origin and production year.
The 4.09-inch cold hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and a 1:9.8 RH twist, contributing to durability and consistent performance. The system is Browning-type, tilting-barrel, recoil-operated. A standard (pre-2020) non-optics-ready slide configuration is present.
Ergonomics are a standout: the interchangeable grip system allows 27 configurations via modular backstraps and side panels. Ambidextrous slide-release levers and an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release support left- or right-handed operation. HK charging supports at the rear of the slide aid in confident manipulation.
The VP9 is striker-fired and equipped with a comprehensive set of safety features, including a trigger safety, firing-pin block, loaded chamber indicator, striker cocking indicator, and disassembly safety. The 3-dot sight system (front blade, rear notch) pairs with a 6.38-inch sight radius. A four-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compatible lights or accessories.
