This PSA PSAK47 GF3 stands out with its forged front trunnion, forged bolt, and forged carrier, paired to a 16-inch 4150 CMV steel barrel that is nitrided and button-broached. It follows the AKM pattern with a stamped receiver, M14x1 LH threads, and an AKM-pattern slant muzzle brake. The rifle is finished with Flat Dark Earth polymer furniture including a side-folding stock and Magpul MOE components, and it is made in West Columbia, South Carolina. Two 30-round magazines are included, one of which is a Magpul PMAG 30 AK/AKM.

The GF3 series features a stamped AKM-pattern receiver with magazine well dimples and a ribbed top cover. It uses a long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, and incorporates a 90-degree AKM-style gas block and a vented gas tube. The receiver is PSA PSAK47 marked with the PSA triangular logo and GF3 series marking.
The 16-inch barrel is made from durable 4150 CMV steel and is nitrided for corrosion resistance. It is button-broached and cut with a 1:9.5 twist to stabilize common 7.62x39 projectiles. The muzzle is threaded M14x1 LH and fitted with an AKM-pattern slant brake.
Furniture is modern and functional. It includes a side-folding polymer stock in Flat Dark Earth with a 12.0-inch length of pull, a Magpul MOE AK pistol grip in FDE, and a Magpul MOE AKM lower handguard. This setup delivers a solid, ergonomic interface while keeping to the AKM pattern.
Sighting is via iron sights with a hooded front post and an adjustable tangent rear. Controls include a manual safety selector, and the receiver has S/F/A selector markings. Capacity is 30+1, and this rifle ships with two 30-round magazines, including one Magpul PMAG. Manufactured in the United States, in West Columbia, South Carolina.
