This Apollo 11 V2 Sub-Compact uses the 2011 platform with a single-action, hammer-fired mechanism. It pairs a black 4140 steel frame with an aluminum grip module that has enhanced texture and a flared magazine well. The two-tone presentation is complete with a bronze slide over the black frame.
The 3.5 in bushingless, ported bull barrel is machined from 416 stainless steel and features three top ports. The slide carries forward and rear cocking serrations plus top and side lightening windows, and it uses an internal extractor for reliable case control.
An RMSc-pattern optics interface is machined into the slide and ships with a cover plate. Iron sights include a dovetailed tritium front dot marked W02 H3 and a dovetailed square-notch rear, giving a clear sight picture out of the box.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The skeletonized trigger with lightening holes offers a familiar 2011-style feel. A short accessory rail with one cross-slot provides mounting for compatible lights or accessories.
