The M&P9 M2.0 Compact pairs a 4 in stainless-steel barrel with a stainless-steel slide finished in Flat Dark Earth, matching its FDE polymer frame. The M2.0 frame incorporates steel chassis inserts and the aggressive M2.0 texture with an interchangeable backstrap system for a secure, controllable grip.
The slide is optics-ready and cut for mounting a red dot, and it includes front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. Steel white-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear for durability and straightforward sight picture maintenance.
Controls are well-sorted for duty or concealed carry use, with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, ambidextrous slide stop/release, and a left-side magazine release. The two-piece hinged trigger integrates a trigger safety, and the pistol is marked capable of firing with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
A 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail supports common lights or lasers. The compact size, 15+1 capacity, and included pair of 15-round steel magazines make this configuration practical and range-ready out of the box.
