The SAM7SF-84E is manufactured by Arsenal AD (Circle 10) in Bulgaria and imported by Arsenal Inc., Las Vegas, NV. It carries the Bulgarian Circle 10 factory mark along with "SAM7SF cal. 7.62x39mm," "Made in BULGARIA," and the U.S. import mark. The top cover is stamped with the last four digits of the serial, a detail valued by AK enthusiasts.
Its 16.3-inch cold hammer forged barrel features a hard-chrome-lined bore and chamber for durability and ease of maintenance. The front sight block is threaded 24x1.5 mm RH and fitted with an AK-74-type brake with detent, and an additional slotted muzzle device is included for flexibility.
The hot-die hammer-forged, milled steel receiver provides a solid foundation. The rifle uses a 90-degree AKM-type gas block and the proven long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector and a left-side thumb safety, and the E Package Enhanced Fire Control Group delivers a refined trigger feel.
Furniture is purpose-built: a tubular steel side-folding stock that folds to the right and wears a rubber buttpad, a black polymer pistol grip, and black polymer upper and lower handguards.
