This Arsenal SGL-21 is a Russian Izhmash Saiga-based rifle converted by Arsenal Inc. in Las Vegas, imported prior to the 2014 sanctions. It features a rugged stamped receiver with AKM-style dimples, a 16.3 in chrome-lined, hammer-forged Russian barrel, and AK-pattern open sights. Non-factory wood furniture and a U.S.-marked 24x1.5 mm muzzle device are installed, giving this SGL-21 a classic profile with proven Russian core components.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
The bore is clean with lands and grooves showing minor wear. The long-stroke piston is in excellent condition.

Built on a rugged stamped receiver at the historic Izhmash Factory, a long stroke gas piston system makes cleaning a breeze. This SGL-21 retains the Russian long-stroke gas system and 90-degree gas block, paired with a chrome-lined, hammer-forged 16.3 in barrel for durability. The barrel is threaded 24x1.5 mm RH and uses an AK-100-series style front sight base with the correct muzzle interface.
Converted by Arsenal Inc. (Las Vegas) to SGL-21 configuration, the rifle shows clear provenance through its markings: SAIGA 7.62x39, LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA, ARSENAL LAS VEGAS NV USA, and the Izhmash arrow-in-triangle, along with an additional proof/inspection stamp and a two-digit '09' date stamp. The painted finish and stamped steel receiver with AKM-style dimples reflect the Russian production lineage.
The rifle is fitted with non-factory wood furniture, including a fixed wood/laminate buttstock, wood handguards, and a wood pistol grip. Length of pull is 13.0 in. A U.S.-marked 24x1.5 mm muzzle device is installed on the threaded barrel.
Chambered in 7.62x39 with a stated capacity of 30+1, the SGL-21 uses AK-pattern open sights consisting of a protected front post and a tangent rear leaf. This example was imported prior to the 2014 Russian import sanctions on Izhmash/AK-pattern rifles.
