Built in the USA, this Mini-14 pairs a stainless steel receiver with an 18.5 in stainless barrel, all finished in a brushed stainless look. The serial prefix 585- identifies it as part of the modernized 580-Series.
The Samson A-TM side-folding stock blends a hardwood forend with a tubular metal folding butt and metal buttplate, plus a black checkered synthetic pistol grip. A ventilated polymer upper handguard completes the classic folder profile. Length of pull is 13.25 in.
The short-stroke gas piston system with rotating bolt is secured by a four-screw clamped gas block. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a flash suppressor. Sling attachment points are located under the gas block and at the folding-stock hinge.
