Built in Kimber's Custom Shop, the Stainless Raptor II showcases the series' signature scale patterning on the slide flanks, top rib, frontstrap, and mainspring housing. The result is distinctive styling with purposeful traction in key contact areas.
This is a full-size, Government-length 1911 with a 5-inch barrel and single-stack, 8-round capacity in .45 ACP. The chamber hood is marked "45 ACP," and the pistol carries the Yonkers, NY U.S.A. manufacturer marking.
The stainless steel slide includes raptor-scale cocking serrations front and rear, a top rib with scale serrations for glare reduction, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Sighting is via fixed, dovetailed 3-dot iron sights: a front blade with a dot and a rear notch with two dots.
Controls and enhancements include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized three-hole trigger, a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, and a standard magazine release. Checkered/scale-pattern wood grips with Kimber medallions complete the package.
