The M4’s A.R.G.O. system uses dual short-stroke gas pistons and a rotating bolt head for dependable cycling with 2-3/4" and 3" shells. This example has an 18.5" steel barrel and a 5+1 capacity, delivering the classic, full-size Super 90 configuration.
It is equipped with a full-length Picatinny rail mounted to the receiver (secured by screws), plus an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight with windage and elevation knobs and a protected front post. The left-side cylindrical charging handle and cross-bolt safety with red indicator support straightforward, confident handling.
The gun features an aluminum alloy receiver in black, a gray/olive barrel and base magazine tube, and a black forward magazine tube extension/end cap for a distinctive two-tone look. The steel barrel has an interchangeable choke system, and the 14.0" length of pull, ribbed polymer forend, and fixed polymer pistol-grip stock with sling slot provide a solid, duty-style setup.
A TTI oversized bolt release is installed, offering a larger, easier-to-access control surface for faster, more positive manipulation. Markings include "BENELLI U.S.A. CORP – ACCOKEEK, MD – MADE IN ITALY" with "IT23" stamp, confirming Italian manufacture and import markings.
