The Kimber CDS9 Shadow Ghost is an optics-ready, single-action 9mm subcompact pistol designed for everyday concealed carry. This micro-size, hammer-fired model pairs a 3.18 in stainless match-grade barrel with 5R rifling and a flat-faced trigger, all in a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame wearing Kimber's black/gray KimPro II finish. The Shadow Ghost trim features an RMSc-footprint optics cut with a cover plate, giving the slide a low-profile mounting option while maintaining clean lines when irons are used. Front and rear slide serrations and an external extractor support confident manipulation.
Its 3.18 in stainless, match-grade barrel uses 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist, engineered for 9mm Luger. The micro-size aluminum-alloy frame and KimPro II black/gray finish keep weight down and add corrosion resistance.
Controls include a reversible magazine release and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. The single-action, hammer-fired system pairs with a flat-faced trigger for a consistent press.
Sight configuration is straightforward and fast: a red fiber-optic front with a drift-adjustable black rear notch. Aggressive grip texturing, a beavertail-style rear tang, an undercut trigger guard, and a subtly flared magazine well aid control and reloads.
