This STX features a two-tone presentation with a dark slide over a matte silver frame, paired with burl-figured wood grips that carry laser-etched SIG SAUER logos. The full-size Government configuration uses a 5-inch barrel with a traditional bushing system and an 8+1 single-stack capacity in .45 ACP.
The slide is square-shouldered with a flat-top serrated rib, wave-style rear cocking serrations; no front serrations, an external extractor, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights are a dovetailed 3-dot set with a low-mount two-dot rear that is elevation adjustable and a matching single-dot dovetailed front.
Controls and ergonomics include single-action-only operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The pistol is equipped with a skeletonized 3-hole trigger and a skeletonized hammer. The front strap is checkered, the mainspring housing is flat, and the beveled/funneled magazine well supports streamlined reloads.
Made in the USA, this example comes as-new with an excellent bore. Two steel 8-round magazines are included, featuring numbered witness holes and low-profile base pads, along with the SIG Sauer factory hard case and owner’s manual.
