The LE6920 is built on an aluminum-alloy flat-top upper and lower with a matte black finish. The receiver carries Colt Defense Hartford markings, forward assist, and an ejection port cover, with a full-length Picatinny top rail for mounting rear sights and other rail-mounted accessories.
Its 16-inch steel barrel is chrome-lined and M4-profile with a carbine-length gas system for proven cycling. The 1:7 twist rate is suited to a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an A2-pattern birdcage flash suppressor.
Sighting equipment consists of a fixed A2 front sight base with bayonet lug and a folding rear aperture sight installed on the upper rail. The carbine-length, two-piece ribbed polymer handguards provide a classic M4 feel and heat protection.
Factory configuration is complemented by a Magpul MOE Carbine collapsible stock and MOE pistol grip for improved ergonomics. The rifle uses standard STANAG magazines, and this example includes two 30-round USGI-style aluminum magazines.
