Built in Kimber's Custom Shop, this Ultra CDP II is a micro-size .45 ACP 1911 with a 3-inch barrel and 7+1 capacity. The stainless steel slide wears a matte silver finish over a dark KimPro II aluminum alloy frame, delivering a lightweight, two-tone package with the ULTRA CDP II roll-mark and Yonkers NY USA markings.
Carry-focused features include Kimber's carry-melt dehorned edges, rear cocking serrations, and a lowered/flared ejection port. The front strap and mainspring housing are checkered for a steady grasp, and a flared magazine-well funnel is installed for streamlined reloads.
The fire-control setup combines a skeletonized hammer with a lightened three-hole trigger. An extended beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a manual thumb safety, and the Series II Swartz firing pin block provide the familiar 1911 single-action interface with added drop protection.
Sight picture is straightforward with fixed, low-profile 3-dot sights. Crimson Trace Lasergrips are installed, adding an integrated aiming laser to the compact 1911 platform without changing its carry dimensions.
This example includes three 7-round magazines (a mix of Kimber KimPro TAC-MAG and Chip McCormick), plus the Kimber factory hard case, owner's manual, and bushing wrench—ready for the range or discreet carry.
