Late-production features identify this example, including the post-1919 slide legend reading "SAVAGE ARMS CORP. UTICA, N.Y. U.S.A. CAL. 32." The serial number is located on the barrel under-lug, consistent with the model’s production practices of the period.
Built on a steel frame with a blued finish, the pistol uses a simple blowback, striker-fired single-action system with an external cocking piece/striker tail at the rear. Protective ears around the cocking piece spur, fine vertical rear slide serrations, and a right-side ejection port round out the slide details. A manual safety and a heel-type magazine release support its period-correct manual of arms.
The 3.75-inch barrel pairs with fixed sights: a half-moon front blade on the barrel and a rear notch integral to the slide. These sighting elements are true to the model’s compact defensive role while keeping the top profile clean and snag-resistant.
Distinctive hard-rubber grips are checkered and marked "SAVAGE QUALITY," each with Indian-Head medallions. A case-colored trigger adds a period finish detail. This United States-made example dates to circa 1919–1920 and maintains the 10+1 capacity that set the Model 1907 apart in its class.
