This FN Herstal SCAR 15P is a recent Belgian-marked 2023 import chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 7.5 inch, cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floated barrel and a three-prong flash hider. It features the SCAR short-stroke gas piston system with a two-position adjustable regulator, a monolithic aluminum upper with a full-length numbered top rail, and a non-reciprocating, reversible charging handle. It arrives with its original case and accessories, including a 30-round Magpul PMAG.

The SCAR 15P uses a short-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt for controlled operation in a compact 7.5 inch format. Its barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floated, and threaded 1/2x28, capped with a three-prong flash hider. The 1:7 twist is suited to a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles.
The monolithic aluminum upper carries a full-length, numbered 12 o'clock Picatinny rail, while the tri-rail forend provides an extended 6 o'clock Picatinny rail and short rail sections at 3 and 9 o'clock for accessories. The rear vertical Picatinny rail end cap (VPR) provides a 1913 rail section; this example has a Magpul rail-mounted fixed sling loop attached and does not have an integrated push-button QD socket in the VPR.
Controls are modern and adaptable: the charging handle is non-reciprocating and reversible, and the safety selector is ambidextrous. The pistol accepts AR-pattern magazines and comes with a Magpul PMAG.
Markings include "SCAR 15P PISTOL MULTI-CALIBER," FN Herstal Belgium 2023, and FN Columbia, SC. The pistol wears a black finish with a polymer lower and polymer pistol grip, measures about 19.75 inches overall, and weighs about 5.65 pounds.
