The Stainless II platform delivers classic 1911 operation in 9mm with a Government-length 5-inch barrel, a barrel bushing, and a full-length guide rod with an open-face plug. The stainless steel frame and slide wear a matte stainless finish, with front and rear angled slide serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port for consistent handling and ejection. The frame features a beveled magazine well and no accessory rail.
Sighting is straightforward with a fixed plain-black rear and a green fiber-optic front sight that provides a bright focal point. Controls are Series II configuration with a left-side manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a Swartz-type firing pin block. The fire-control setup includes a skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
This example is upgraded with Lok G10 grip panels and a front-strap grip tape panel for enhanced purchase. Internally, it uses a Wilson Combat mainspring and Wilson Combat recoil spring, and it comes with additional Wilson Combat recoil springs in multiple rates to tailor cycling to ammunition or preference.
Markings include a chamber hood stamped '9MM,' a frame marked 'YONKERS NY USA,' and slide markings of the Kimber script logo on the left and 'STAINLESS II' on the right. Capacity is 9+1 with four included single-stack 9mm magazines, including Wilson Combat among others. Origin is the United States.
